Conclusion

We had a wonderful trip to London and although I have been there a few times now, Katie and I are already eager to go back!  This city now hold a special place in our hearts as this is where we got engaged on a truly perfect evening when a cold, rainy day became sunny and beautiful at just the right time!  There is always a lot to learn about a city, from the transportation and lodging to the food and entertainment.  That is why I thought that a report of pictures was the best way to go, with some specific reports on Hotels and other aspects still to come.  If there are things you have questions on we will be sure to answer in the comments and write a new post on it!

  1. Awe….Congrats!

I lived in London for 3 years and it seemed like it was always cold and wet except for the 2 weeks during the Olympics.

Did you get a chance to go up The Shard? The views from the Observation floors are amazing even at night!

    • No, we didn’t have a chance to make it up there! Although I was looking at it as a place to ask Katie to marry me before deciding on the area around the Tower Bridge. Maybe on the next visit!
