This is another one of the old legacy U.S. Air lounges that I’ve frequented that’s now an Admirals Club (along with the Charlotte C Terminal Club). It’s in the U.S. Air Express terminal, F. It was under construction and closed for years, while F Terminal was being redone. I must say, this is only the 3rd time I’ve been back through F terminal since they finished construction, but each time I come back it shocks me how much nicer it is.
I had a quick 45 minute layover in Philadelphia but since I was flying out of the gate almost literally below the club, I figured I’d stop in for a drink and a few photos!
The F Terminal Admiral’s Club is one of four AC’s in the Philadelphia airport. There are two clubs in the “A” Terminal and one in “B/C”.
This AC is one of the smallest ones out there. It’s nice, and one of the newer ones, but definitely on the small side. Reminds me somewhat of the US Air club in Tampa (I guess now an AC, haven’t been there in a few years).
(Sorry some of the photos are darker – I may have been a little too hasty!)
The club isn’t anything special. It’s pretty similar to all the other ones with the cookies (yum), snacks, drinks, etc.
The tarmac views from the club aren’t bad. It’s mostly just views of the small, U.S. Express planes in the F Terminal. The light wasn’t really cooperating in my quick visit, hence no tarmac pictures.
This club is about a quarter of the size of the “B/C” Terminal lounge. And by a quarter, I mean more toward 1/6th. It’s pretty damn small. The conference room fits 6 people and it has a business center, so it still has the basic, albeit, limited amenities.
Have you ever visited this lounge? What’s your impression?
