Emirates First Class Availability
Now I have never flown Emirates First Class before, but I sure as heck want to! As most people know, it is one of the most over the top flying experiences out there with your own suite with doors and an on-board shower and bar!
Their cabins were represented in Sex and the City 2 which is why my wife wants to fly them.
And Jennifer Aniston even started doing commercials as their new spokeswoman.
The best way to fly Emirates is using Alaska Airlines miles which are fairly easy to acquire and don’t have any fuel surcharges attached which can be several $100 on some flights using Emirates’ own miles. When using Alaska miles it cost 90K miles to the Middle east and 100K miles to Europe or Africa (through Dubai).
Due to a question from a friend I actually wrote a whole post about the easiest way to fly Emirates and Etihad First Class a couple months ago.
But let’s get to the point. Emirates flights from DFW (Dallas) usually have pretty good availability to DXB (Dubai) and flights from JFK (New York) are usually okay as well. But, at the moment they have GREAT availability!!
From July through October there are 4 seats on most days between DFW (Dallas) and DXB (Dubai)!!
The calendar searches below are for 4 seats and each day that shows 90K miles has 4 seats on an Emirates flight available!
There is also pretty good availability from New York between August and October with 4 seats available on a lot of days!
Below is New York (JFK) to Dubai. You will notice 2 different prices with the 90K miles. The $51 is the flight with a stop in Milan (MXP) and the $20 is direct to Dubai.
If you don’t want to go to Dubai there are plenty of destinations to go to from there! Lets say you want to go to Paris the long way, but in style! Plenty of flights through Dubai to choose from between August and October!
How about to London for a late summer or fall trip!! Plenty of room there too going into LGW (Gatwick) or LHR (Heathrow)! Emirates flies an A380 to both of those airports!
As you can see if you have Alaska miles and want to take a cool trip to Dubai or beyond, there is plenty of availability!!
One word of caution on the connecting flight to London or wherever is that the calendar will show first class availability even if only 1 segment is in First. You don’t have to worry about it on the direct flight to Dubai but might have to when going somewhere from there. With that being said I only saw a couple days where that was the case and the other segment was always Business Class on an A380.
First Class on an Emirates A380 is one of the top experiences on my list to check off in the next year. Hopefully this availability of being able to get up to 4 seats per flight will allow a bunch of people to experience it together with their family and friends!
If you want to know how to get miles to potentially fly this then check out this post.
Does this help anyone? Who is taking the whole crew?
